ADD SALES TAX RATE
- Go to SALES TAX CODES under the CONFIGURATIONS menu item
- Choose the desired sales tax code
- Go to the Tax rates tab at the bottom
- Click on Add
- Enter the official tax rate in the "Tax rate in %" field (e.g. 7.7%)
- Set the date on which the new tax rate is to become effective with the calendar in the "Valid from" field.
- Confirm with OK
- Click on Save
- Click on the arrow icon to return to the previous view
In CiRRUS, you can save various sales tax codes. This is required if the government plans to increase or decrease the sales tax code.
To set up a sales tax code, open SALES TAX CODES under the CONFIGURATIONS menu item. You are now in the Sales tax codes view. Choose the desired sales tax code.
Now go to the Tax rates tab at the bottom and click on Add. Enter the official tax rate in the "Tax rate in %" field. Set the date on which the new tax rate is to become effective with the calendar in the "Valid from" field. Confirm with OK.
Click on Save to save your entries. Click on the arrow icon to return to the previous view.
You now have saved or changed a sales tax code and set the date from which it is to be effective and usable.
