TRANSLATE CATEGORIES

  • Open CATEGORIES under the PRODUCT MASTER DATA menu item
  • Choose the desired category
  • Go to the Translations tab at the bottom
  • Click on Add
  • Enter the corresponding translation in the respective language here
  • Click on Save
  • Click on Save
Detailed Description

In CiRRUS, you can set up several language versions for categories. These translations are required for correctly designating categories in other languages.

To save the translation of a category, go to the PRODUCT MASTER DATA menu and open CATEGORIES. You are now in the Categories view. Choose the desired categories.

Go to the Translations tab at the bottom and click on Add. You can write translations here for the previously saved languages. Choose the desired language in the "Language" field and enter the translation of the category in the "Name" field.

Click on Save to save your entries.

You have now saved the translation for a category. This takes effect immediately and is available in the respective language. If a certain language has been set as standard language, this category is displayed immediately in the correct language version.

When using CiRRUS via a mobile device, it may happen that texts are translated independently by the device/browser. For an error-free use, we recommend to deactivate this translation function on the device. // The content shown in the video may differ from your own layout. // For the sake of simplicity and readability, only the masculine form is used in the descriptions.
