PRODUCT EXPORT WITH FILTER RULES

  • Open EXPORT PRODUCTS under the PRODUCT MASTER DATA menu item
  • Click on Filter
  • Select all filter rules which are to have an effect on product sorting
  • Click on Apply
  • Click on Assign for additional products which you wish to add to the selection without filter rules
  • Select all additional products to be included in the product list, or
  • Enter a search term in the Search field to search directly for products
  • Select all desired products
  • Click on Assign to see your selection for product export
  • Select an undesired product, if required
  • Click on Remove
  • Click on Export
  • Enter the desired layout in the "Layout" field
  • Enter a suitable language in the "Language" field
  • Enter the desired sorting criterion in the "Sorting" field
  • Click on Export
  • Click on the bell icon in the top tool bar to open notifications
  • Click on "Download report" on the left to download a report
  • Click on the downloaded report to open the Excel file
Detailed Description

In CiRRUS, you have various options for exporting products from the product master data in an Excel file. You can find out here how to start product export and where you can read the resulting report.

To start a product export, open EXPORT PRODUCTS under the PRODUCT MASTER DATA menu item. Click on Filter. You are now in the Filter rules view. Select all filter rules which are to have an effect on sorting the products for data export. Click on Apply to create a list of selected items. To add additional products to this selection without filter rules, click on Assign to get to the product list. Select all additional products to be included in the export file or enter a search term in the "Search" field to search directly for certain products. Select all desired products. Now click on Assign to see your selection for the export products in an overview. If you discover undesired products in the list, you can select them and remove them by clicking on Remove.

Click the Export button to open the Export window. Choose a suitable layout from the dropdown menu in the "Layout" field. Now choose the language for displaying the product list from the dropdown menu in the "Language" field. In a final step, choose the sorting criterion for structuring your list in the "Sorting" field. Now click on the Export button to start the export order. You now receive a notification about the product export.

To access the notifications, click on the bell icon in the top toolbar. A window opens in which you can read your notification. Click on the "Download report" link to start downloading the product lists. Open the Excel file by clicking on the downloaded report. You can also read the report in REPORTING under the OFFICE FUNCTIONALITIES menu item. However, the report is available only for a maximum period of two weeks, depending on the predefined reporting period.

You now have set up a product list which you can process if and when required.
