SET UP PRODUCT GROUP
- Open PRODUCT GROUP under the PRODUCT MASTER DATA menu item
- Click on Create new
- Enter the desired product group name in the "Name" field
- Optionally, enter the corresponding number in the "Number" field
- Optionally, enter a corresponding external ID in the "External ID" field
- Choose the correct card center code in the "Card center code" field
- Choose the corresponding business unit in the "Business units" field
- Choose the desired sales tax code in the "Tax" field
- Slide the slider to ON if the entered sales tax code is permitted to be written over to products
- Enter the desired sales tax code for take-away in the "Take-away tax" field
- Slide the slider to ON if the entered sales tax code is permitted to be written over to take-away products
- Click on Save
In CiRRUS, you can set up product groups. They are necessary to allocate products to groups and therefore gain an optimal overview of the product assortment.
To set up a product group, open PRODUCT GROUP under the PRODUCT MASTER DATA menu item. You are now in the Product group view.
Click on Add. Enter the desired product group name in the "Name" field. Enter the corresponding number in the "Number" field, if required. Optionally, enter the corresponding external ID in the "External ID" field. Enter the related card center code in the "Card center code" field. Determine the business units to be authorized for this product group in the "Business units" field. Choose the desired sales tax code in the "Tax" field. Slide the "Tax overridable on the product" slider to ON, if this option is required. Choose the desired sales tax code for take-aways in the "Take-away tax" field. Slide the "Take-away tax overridable on the product" slider to ON, if this option is required. Click on Save.
You have set up a product group to which you can add products straight away.
