ADD POS CONFIGURATION

Go to POINT OF SALE CONFIGURATION under the CONFIGURATION menu item
Click on Create new
Enter the point of sale number in the "Number" field
Choose the terminal type of the point of sale in the "Type" field
Choose the desired rounding action in the "Receipt total rounding to calculate rounding differences" field
Enter the desired initial receipt number in the "Initial transaction number" field
Enter a suitable terminal name in the "Name" field (e.g. "POS-01" or "POS 1")
Choose the desired point of sale layout in the "Point of sale layout" field

For indoor and information terminals:

Choose the desired product catalog in the "Product catalog" field
Choose the desired customer display in the "Customer display layout" field
Choose the corresponding printer in the "Printers" field
Choose the corresponding payment terminal in the "Payment terminals" field
Choose the corresponding scanner in the "Scanners" field
Click on Save
Click on the save icon to return to the previous view

Detailed Description

In CiRRUS, you can configure your point of sale terminals and connect them to peripheral devices such as printers, scanners and payment terminals.

To configure a point of sale, go to the CONFIGURATIONS menu item and open POINT OF SALE CONFIGURATION. You are now in the Point of sale view. Click on Create new. Enter the desired point of sale terminal number in the "Number" field. Choose the corresponding point of sale type in the "Type" field and the desired rounding action in the "Receipt total rounding to calculate rounding differences" from the respective dropdown menu. Enter the initial number to be stated on each issued receipt in the "Initial transaction number" field. Enter a suitable terminal name in the "Name" field (e.g. "POS-01" or "POS 1"). Choose the desired layout from the dropdown menu in the "Point of sale layout" field.

Proceed as follows for indoor and information terminals: Choose the desired elements from the respective dropdown menus in the "Product catalog" and "Customer display layout" fields.

Now choose the corresponding devices to communicate with the point of sale from the respective dropdown menus in the "Printers", "Payment terminals" and "Scanners" fields.

Click on Save to save your settings. Click on the arrow icon to return to the previous view.

You now have recorded initial basic data for a point of sale terminal and can continue with the configuration.
