Detailed Description

In CiRRUS, you can assign specific cash drawers to your indoor and information terminals.

To assign a cash drawer, go to the CONFIGURATIONS menu item and open POINT OF SALE CONFIGURATION. You are now in the Point of sale view. Choose the indoor point of sale terminal or information terminal.

Now go to the Cash drawers tab at the bottom and click on Add. Choose the desired cash drawer which is authorized for this point of sale in the "Cash drawer" field. Choose all payment methods which this point of sale is authorized to use from the dropdown menu in the "Cash payment types" field. Now tick the "Transaction start closed" field if the cash drawer must be closed at the start of the transaction as no new transaction can be processed otherwise. Enter the cash drawer number in the "Lid" field if several cash drawers are used with the same point of sale (e.g. Separate cash drawer for Swiss francs and euros).

Click on Save to save your settings. Click on the arrow icon to return to the previous view.

You now know how to assign one or several cash drawers to an indoor or information terminal.
