In CiRRUS, you have numerous options for processing a sales process at the point of sale terminal. A fueling process may not be transferred to the point of sale and you may have to manually process the fuel sale in the event of the fuel terminal management breaking down.
To complete a manual sales process, go to POINT OF SALE START under the POINT OF SALE menu item. You are now in the Point of sale view. Choose the desired point of sale terminal.
Click on the three dots in the top toolbar of the point of sale display or choose the Manual fuel sale button there if you have configured this for quick access in the toolbar. Choose the correct fuel point, then the fuel product that has been fueled up.
The Quantity/price selection dialog field opens. Enter the information you have carefully copied from the fuel terminal display with accurate decimal places: Enter the quantity of fuel that has been fueled up in the "Quantity" field, the corresponding total amount in the "Amount" field, and the price per unit in the "Product price" field (e.g. Price/liter for fuel and price/kg for gas). Click on Approve to save your entries.
Note: The information on the fuel terminal displays is valid for the gauging office, regardless of the type of rounding.
Now initiate the payment process by clicking on the To pay button. If the customer wishes to pay in a currency other than the primary currency, click on the button with the corresponding currency code. Complete the payment using the desired payment type and pay out any change due. Click on Print receipt in the window that has just popped up if the customer desired a receipt, otherwise click on X or press the Escape key and close the Payment complete message. The receipt of the correct fueling process will show the actual fuel point.
You now have manually sold fuel. This option should only be used if necessary as copying and entering the fuel data is prone to errors.
