ADD PRODUCTS

Open PRODUCTS under the PRODUCT MASTER DATA menu item
Click on Create new
Enter a suitable name in the "Name" field
Enter a product number in the "Number" field
Choose a suitable unit in the "Unit" field
Choose the suitable main product group in the "Main product group" field
Choose a suitable sales tax code in the "Tax" field
Choose the card center code in the "Card center code" field
Enter the desired external ID number in the "External ID" field
Choose the corresponding business unit in the "Business unit" field
Choose the related information in the "Financial account number" field
Choose the take-away sales tax code in the "Take-away tax" field (country-specific)
Choose the deposit product in the "Related deposit" field (e.g. Glass bottle = product / deposit product = glass bottle deposit)
Click on Save
Click on the arrow icon to return to the previous view

Detailed Description

In CiRRUS, you can quickly and easily configure products in the Product view. The term products refers to sellable goods.

To set up a product, open PRODUCTS under the PRODUCT MASTER DATA menu item. You are now in the Products view. Click on Create new. Enter a suitable name in the "Name" field and a product number in the "Number" field. Choose a suitable unit in the "Unit" field and a suitable main product group in the "Main product group" field from the corresponding dropdown menus. Choose a suitable sales tax code in the "Tax" field and the card center code in the "Card center code" field. Enter the desired external ID in the "External ID" field. Choose the corresponding business unit in the "Business unit" field. Choose the related information from the dropdown menu in the "Financial account number" field. Choose the take-away sales tax code (country-specific) in the "Take-away tax" field and the corresponding deposit product (e.g. glass bottle = product / deposit product = glass bottle deposit) in the "Related deposit" field from the respective dropdown menus.

Click on Save to save your entries. Click on the arrow icon to return to the previous view.

You have now set up a product. You can set additional parameters, if required. The product is now ready to sell.

When using CiRRUS via a mobile device, it may happen that texts are translated independently by the device/browser.
