GENERAL PRODUCT RETURN
- Go to POINT OF SALE START under the POINT OF SALE menu item
- Choose a point of sale terminal
- Click on the three dots in the top toolbar of the point of sale display
- Choose Product return
- (Click on X or press the Escape key to return to the point of sale display) or
- Click on the Product return button in the top toolbar of the point of sale display
- Choose the product to be returned
- Enter the product price paid at the time of purchase in the "Price" field
- Choose the reason for the return in the "Reason" field
- Click on Accept
- Click on To pay out
- Click on Cash and pay out the correct amount
- Click on Print receipt, if desired
- Click on X or press the Escape key and close the Product return complete message
In CiRRUS, you have numerous options for processing a sales process at the point of sale terminal. It can happen that a customer returns a product, for instance, and you now wish to correctly book this goods return.
To complete a goods return, go to POINT OF SALE START under the POINT OF SALE menu item. You are now in the Point of sale view. Choose the desired point of sale terminal.
Click on the three dots in the top toolbar of the point of sale display or choose the Product return button there if you have configured this for quick access in the toolbar. Now choose the product to be returned. The Price preselection dialog field opens. Enter the product price paid at the time of the purchase in the "Price" field. Choose the reason for the return in the "Reason" field. Now click on Accept, To pay out and Cash, in this exact sequence. Pay out the correct amount to the customer.
Note: The price could have changed by the time the product is returned, which is why the originally paid price is entered in the price pre-selection and paid out.
Click on Print receipt in the window that has just popped up if you desire a receipt for the goods return, otherwise click on X or the Escape key and close the Product return complete message.
You now know how to process a goods return and pay out the originally paid price to the customer.
