Detailed Description

In CiRRUS, you can send messages between sites that are relevant to employees or operations in general. This makes sense when there are high-priority messages, work, etc. that have to be reported. For example: Please top up paper today, or please do not use POS 1 as maintenance is being carried out.

To write a (normal) message, go to the top toolbar and click on the speech balloon icon. Click on New message to open a selection window. Choose the message type "Message" and open the dropdown menu in the "Sites" field. Now select the sites to which the message is to be sent and click on Assign.

Enter the subject in the "Subject" field and the desired message in the "Message" field. Click on Send to send the message immediately to the chosen sites. The Message window closes automatically.

You now have sent a "Normal message", which will be indicated to the recipient on the speech balloon icon in the top toolbar. Note: The process for writing "Urgent messages" and "Important messages" is described in separate chapters.
